Reminder: Parent Council Mtg Wed 14th September (with drinks and nibbles)
The first Parent Council meeting of the session will take place next Wednesday in Room 1.15 at 6.30pm.
The Parent Council exists to give parents and carers a voice within the school. Meetings are attended by the Head Teacher as well as the Business Manager who provide a report of current and planned activities as well as issues for discussion.
Clearly there is a lot going on right now, with both the plans for a new Boroughmuir and the impact of the Council cuts taking centre stage. But even at the best of times there is always lots to discuss, learn about and sometimes to question at meetings.
So, if you are at all interested do please come along. We are a friendly bunch and would love to see some new faces. There is no obligation to join the Council formally – though of course we would be delighted if you would like to.
To get the meeting off to a good start we will be serving wine, soft drinks and nibbles from 6.15.
