In anticipation of the statutory public consultation – which will most likely run from Feb 20th to March 30th - the Parent Council and New School Sub Group made a detailed representation to Billy MacIntyre, Head of Resources in Children & Families on January 25th. A response to the letter has now been received.
As you can see, there is a great deal of material to digest in the two letters. The PC and NSSG are currently considering the implications of the response together with thinking about how best we can support and facilitate parent interests during the consultation process. We will publish more on this presently.
In the meantime, please note the following confirmed dates / times for the public meetings:
- 5th March 7pm, Boroughmuir St Oswald’s Hall (NB early start)
- 6th March 7.30pm, Buckstone PS
- 13th March 7.30pm, South Morningside PS
- 14th March 7.30pm, Bruntsfield PS
