Here are two great pictures related to Derek Nelson’s participation in the torch relay. The first shows his jog from Greyfriars Bobby to the Mound. 
It really captures the thrill, excitement and sheer pleasure of the day.
The second is of Derek (and torch!) with the BHS Young Black Cats in celebratory mood. In Derek’s own words: “This one says it what it was all about!”
